“Le Vie delle foto” - the Photo routes – a collective photography exhibition

From the 1st until the 30th of April it will be on display in different places of the city.

It started 6 years ago with an idea of Linda Simeone, and “The Photo routes” was an immediate success.

It’s a collective photography exhibition, with many different displays located in different bars and restaurants of the centre of Trieste, in which almost sixty photographers show their work.

The main purpose of the event is to promote Trieste and it’s local territory; at the beginning it collected ideas and suggestions of local photographers, but now it opened up its boundaries, accepting photographers from all over the world.

Linda and her staff of seven women are full of energy and work relentlessly side by side to give Trieste some spotlight. During this last month, every Saturday morning or afternoon there will also be the possibility to take a tour of the city centre. A few expert guides will lead visitors around the beauties of our territory, alternating photography to places of historical importance.

There have been over 2.000 photographs sent to participate in the exposition and many more are still arriving.

So, are you ready for this new edition?

I’m already positioned at my start block, because I’m sure you’ve realized I’m quite passionate about photography. Not only, you might even see a few of the photographs taken by Miss Claire’s “photographic eye”, my colleague that takes pictures of all the experiences around Mitteleuropa that you’ve seen and read about.

Keep an eye out for “Le Vie delle foto”!
