SOČA VALLEY: A SUMMER ITINERARY THROUGH 26 NATURAL WONDERS
From the cool of alpine waterfalls to the silence of hidden gorges — an inspiring journey into Slovenia’s green heart, where heat gives way to wonder.
When the heat becomes unbearable and the city feels stifling, there’s a place seemingly made to refresh both body and soul: the Soča Valley, in the northwestern heart of Slovenia. A corner of the world where water takes center stage — in all its forms: rivers, waterfalls, lakes, and crystal-clear springs.
Here, among the Julian Alps, Triglav National Park, and the emerald-blue Soča River, nature puts on a show of rare beauty, perfect for a summer escape filled with coolness, adventure, and awe.
I’ve put together an inspirational itinerary featuring some of the most breathtaking spots to discover — ideal for those who love hiking, swimming, photography, or simply getting lost in authentic beauty.
