Info

If you’re looking for artwork than can be worn, this is the place to go.

When you ring the doorbell, you will be welcomed by Silvia: a girl with very sweet manners and a degree in “Planning and creation of visual Arts” from the IUAV in Venice.

This little shop in Trieste goes back fifty years, when Silvia’s grandmother started her business by taking over the little shop called Giada. Her grandmother stayed in the family jewellery until she was in her 90s, overlooking the work of her two sons.

Giada has been open for years now, and passed down through generation until in 2014 the new GIADA started business, under Silvia’s management.

The name and the furniture are the same, but the jewellery selection has changed. No more industrial made gold jewellery, but modern pieces, art that can be worn everyday. Silvia wanted to create a little “jewellery art gallery”. She has experience as an art curator in a few galleries in London, and this pushed her to search for international designers that create pure artwork.

The main purpose of the jewellery isn’t the material from which it’s made but the design and uniqueness of the piece!

The only connection that GIADA has with Trieste is her collaboration with the Designer Mara Pavatich, who presents her collections in this small and attractive jewellery gallery!
